the details:

  • We’re looking for interns and assistant coordinators who are passionate about event planning and excited to gain hands-on experience. While we ideally seek current students or recent graduates in fields like public relations, hospitality, communications, or something similar, we absolutely welcome applicants with a strong desire to learn and grow—experience is not a dealbreaker! Whether you're just starting out or have a little experience under your belt, if you’re eager to jump in, we’d love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, friendly, and composed under pressure—weddings and events can be emotional and stressful for clients, and we need someone who can keep their cool while staying communicative and solution-oriented. Most of our events take place in Orange County and Los Angeles County, so you must be able to travel to these areas and be available to work weekends.

  • As an intern or assistant coordinator, you will play an essential role in making sure our events run smoothly. Your day-of responsibilities will include {but are definitely not limited to}: setting up décor, assisting vendors with deliveries {such as flowers, linens, and rentals}, helping execute the day-of timeline, troubleshooting any last-minute hiccups, and ensuring everything stays on schedule. You’ll be the friendly face working directly with vendors, clients, and other members of the team to keep things running seamlessly.

Throughout it all, you will be supported and mentored by a Principal Planner, who will guide you every step of the way. Depending on your role and experience, some assistants will also have the chance to get more involved in the planning process, such as helping with event and photoshoot design, collaborating on creative concepts, reaching out to vendors, and even sitting in on client meetings. We believe that growth comes naturally with time and commitment, and we’re excited to support you as you develop your skills and experience in the field of event planning.

  • Internships can be applied towards college credit. All new interns and coordinators will begin with a brief trial period before finalizing their position on our team, allowing both you and us to ensure it’s a good fit. You will gain hands-on experience in event planning and execution that goes beyond what you can learn in a classroom. We put you in the action, working with real clients, professional vendors, and beautiful venues across Southern California and beyond.

Compensation for internships and coordinator positions is commensurate with experience, and we ensure that all members of the team are fairly compensated for their contributions. Whether you’re just starting out or bringing some experience to the table, we’re committed to supporting your growth and offering a meaningful, rewarding experience.

  • Members of the team should be prepared to assist with events primarily on Saturdays, with occasional work on Fridays and Sundays. We understand that everyone has personal commitments, so we are happy to accommodate scheduling needs as long as proper notice is given in advance.

While we typically ask for a commitment of at least one year from interns and assistant coordinators, we may be able to work with you on any personal scheduling needs. Our goal is to create a positive, supportive environment for everyone on the team.

  • If you think you would be a perfect addition to our team, we want to hear from you! Please make sure to follow these instructions carefully, as we will {unfortunately} not review incomplete or incorrectly-submitted applications. Send us an e-mail with the following items:

    • A cover letter introducing yourself and why you'd like to join our team
At the end of your cover letter, please answer the following questions:

      1. What inspires you?

      2. What does your ideal day look like?

      3. What are the current top three songs on your playlist?

    • A photo of yourself

    • Your current résumé
